Premier Pediatric Concierge Care

April 14, 2016

Dear WPA Patient Family:

I am excited to share with you that, effective June 1st, I will be available to provide a more personalized approach as your child’s pediatrician through my new company, Premier Pediatric Concierge Care, P.C. (“Premier Care”).  Over the past couple of years, a large number of WPA families have urged me to offer, in addition to our current practice, a pediatric version of concierge medicine.  We are now happy to offer your family the opportunity to enroll your children (while space is available).

At the onset, let me strongly reaffirm my deep and personal commitment to ensuring that all patients at WPA receive the same “quality of care—irrespective of whether or not they are enrolled with Premier Care.  However, by joining Premier Care, families will experience a practice that combines the best of modern medicine with good “old-fashioned” medicine.  Through Premier Care, your families will gain more access to me (and/or a Premier Care provider), and enjoy greater convenience, along with the following benefits:

  • Direct access to me (or a Premier Care provider) 24hrs/7 days a week
  • Same day or next business day appointments for your child
  • Longer and unhurried office visits
  • Ability to schedule visits during extended hours, and on Saturdays once a month
  • Access to Private Waiting Room
  • Personalized assistance with scheduling specialist appointments
  • Courtesy visits, if admitted to Children’s Hospital or Sibley Hospital
  • A Comprehensive Wellness Plan for your children
  • A complimentary nutrition and wellness consultation from a certified life coach.
  • Invitations to Health Education Workshops/Mindfulness Retreats, and e-newsletters
  • Waivers of fees for medical forms and after-hour calls.

Premier Care is perfectly designed for: (i) those parents who desire a more personalized and enhanced doctor-patient relationship for their children; and (ii) those parents with challenging schedules who can benefit from greater convenience and access to your children’s doctor.   Please note that, given the size of our practice, enrollment with Premier Care will be limited to a select number of patients who register-- after that, interested patients will be placed on a waiting list until a slot becomes available.  In addition, Premier Care is not a substitute for health insurance in any way.  All benefits provided to your children under Premier Care are considered “non-covered services” and are not paid by commercial insurance plans.  A more detailed explanation of all benefits (and the annual membership fee) will be outlined in enrollment agreements.

Finally, if you are interested in joining (or learning more about) Premier Care, I invite you to meet with me in my office between the hours of 1-3pm on the following Saturdays: April 30th; and May 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th.  I will be happy to talk with you and answer your questions.  As always, I am grateful for your loyalty and, most importantly, entrusting me with the care of your precious children.

Warmly,

Nicole V. Lang, MD
